Message from the Rural Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Green Network

The Great Collaboration is an initiative aiming to help town and parish councils work together with their communities on climate action and nature recovery.

There are many benefits from people working on these agendas to be able to share their successes and ask for advice from fellow action groups in a local network. This is something which is developing well in Essex and Norfolk and the team at The Great Collaboration have been talking with Cambridgeshire ACRE and the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Association of Local Councils (CAPALC) about the potential for such a network covering rural Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

We would like to invite you to an online meeting from 12.30 on Thursday 4 December to further discuss the practicalities of such a network, including how it communicates with itself while reaching out to other local activity and organisations. This is an open event to which everyone is welcome.
