Could someone in your community be choosing between heating and eating? Fuel poverty affects more households than many people realise and town & parish councils are often among the first to hear about it.

Join Cambridgeshire ACRE and colleagues from PECT’s Energy Advice Service for a practical, interactive session that will help you recognise the signs of fuel poverty, understand the support available locally, and learn simple energy-saving measures that can make a real difference. You’ll leave with the knowledge, confidence and resources to signpost residents to the right help and support warmer, healthier homes in your community.

• Town and parish councillors
• Parish clerks and council officers
• Community champions and volunteers
• Village hall and community building representatives
• Anyone who regularly comes into contact with local residents and wants to better understand fuel poverty and the support available

Whether you are already supporting vulnerable residents or simply want to be better informed, this session will provide practical knowledge you can put to use straight away.
