Creative coffee morning for people affected by cancer
About this event
Join us for a friendly and relaxed morning of creativity, conversation and refreshments.
Local artist Andrew Dockerill will lead a free, informal art session suitable for complete beginners, with all materials provided.
If art is not your thing, you are equally welcome to come along for a cuppa, some cake and friendly company.
The event is open to anyone affected by cancer, including family members, friends and carers.
Our Macmillan Village Agents will also be available to offer information and support.
Who should attend?
Anyone in Fenland whose life has been affected by cancer is welcome. This includes people who are living with or beyond cancer, as well as family members, friends and carers.
You do not need any previous art experience, and you are welcome to attend the coffee morning without taking part in the art session.
By taking part you will:
- Enjoy a relaxed and welcoming morning with other local people.
- Try a creative activity led by a local artist, with no previous experience needed.
- Meet and talk to others who understand how cancer can affect people’s lives.
- Enjoy free refreshments in a friendly, informal setting.
- Find out about additional information and support from our Macmillan Village Agents.
