Cambridgeshire ACRE Annual General Meeting 2018

25 September 2018

We invite our members, partners and supporters to attend our Annual General Meeting which is being held on Tuesday 25 September 2018, from 2.00pm to 5.00pm, at Landbeach Village Hall, 1 The Green, Landbeach, Cambridge, CB25 9FD. Tea and cake will be served.

Apart from the usual AGM business, where you will hear more about our highly successful year, we are pleased to announce that Sarah Severn, from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs will be joining us to talk on What next for rural communities? How will they thrive in future? Sarah is a Deputy Director heading up the Rural Policy team at Defra in the UK. She and her team are responsible for rural proofing Government policy and also focus on rural productivity, broadband and mobile infrastructure, and rural communities. She has previously worked in the Home Office and was awarded a CBE for services to public protection in 2013. At this important juncture for rural policy, we are delighted to offer our members, partners and supporters an opportunity to ask questions and join in an open discussion at the end of Sarah’s presentation.

We hope that you will come and join us for this interesting and informative afternoon. To book a place (or places) at our AGM, please click here and complete your details. Joining instructions will be sent to everyone who registers one week prior to the event.
